Drive shaft removal

In in the process of disassembling the lower unit on my 1981 E50BELCIC i just renoved the jamnut below the pinion gear trying to remove the drive shaft but can't get it to budge any ideas

It's seized in their. Your going to need a puller or make one. You can find it in YouTube videos if you search how to remove it.

I've seen the home made puller jobies for the power head side but the gearcase side? It's bathed in oil?

Put the nut back on.-----Put a wedge between the nut and clutch dog.----Give propshaft a bump with a rubber mallet.
