I have a running 470 which I am not pressed to make changes to, but I have a newer distributor and ignition from a 3.0LX and was wondering about compatibility. I know when I upgrade from the points to the electronic ignition on the 3.0 it madea really big difference in in starting, idle and overall smoothness. I know I could upgrade to Pertronix or something but was wondering if I could make use of it.
