I removed the cap today and the center contact for the rotor button is broken off short.<br /><br />can I find anything else to function there instead of buying a complete $90 distributer cap?<br /><br />one from a car dist cap?<br />can I get that material from a starter/alternator rebuilder? <br />it looks like carbon or electric motor brush material.<br /><br />any ideas are welcomed!
