Hi all!

Today I dewinterized my previous boat, a Caravelle 1750BR with 3.0 GS Volvo and started it. It started good, ran great, but after a while i noticed chunks of rust (i think) on the ground. The exhaust obviously blew them out - is this a bad thing or is something like that common? The engine had anti freeze in it for the whole winter. Do you think the manifold is peeling? Or the elbow?

Thanx

Well, i've been using it in salt water for 3 years... Before that it was in lake Michigan; the manifold was like new when i got the boat, same goes for the riser (so i used them). The base engine was bought new.
