Daggum KEY !!!

Hey Guys,

Been driving myself CRAZY with trying to purchase an EXTRA key for my boat...

Have gone to several local hardware and auto stores... NO GO !!!

Problem is I have a non original key with only a Taylor C40 blank number on it...

I have ordered a 133 and a 134 Merc key however both of these are like mirror image of the key that I need and didn't work...

There is a Taylor C40R which I believe is the match of these keys "R" meaning "reverse" maybe...speculating at this.
Don't want to replace a perfectly good ignition switch or take my control box apart...
Last time I did that it was an absolute NIGHTMARE to get it back together...

Anyway,
Can anyone share some info or a spare key possibly ???

See if a hardware or other place can get the C40 blank. Another option is this. Wholesale Key Blanks. Web's Best Source for Wholesale Keys, Key Blanks, and Key Machines

What's weird about it is Taylor keys are security type keys from Ilco ( common key blank manufacture ). It is not the right blank for your switch, but it may be what a hardware had that fit. If you can find the blank, have a good hardware with an old key machine cut it. Or a locksmith
