I have a 1992 Ebbtide 20' bowrider that has been trailered all its life. Now that we have a place at the lake, I'm leaving it docked for a few days at a time and find myself lusting after the custom covers that the newer bowriders have that cover the bow and cockpit completely without having to be strapped to the boat (they snap into place and are separate units for the bow opening and the cockpit). Obviously these newer boats were made like this from the factory and mine isn't. So here is my question....can I put the snaps into place around the boat to snap such a cover into place, and if so, where would I order a custom cover to fit my boat?
If this isn't possible, do any of you guys know of a good cover that can be easily put into place with the boat in the water and docked? Thanks in advance!
