I'm looking at a 1992 Crestliner Eagle V196 with a 1992 Johnson 120HP on it. Any information on the Crestliner would be appreciated as far as rough water handling, durability and so on. It is in nice shape and is owned by the proverbial "little old man" that wants to get out of boating. Any idea as to what a decent price would be would also be appreciated. It has two electric downriggers (Walker), high top, Eagle Ultra 3 FF and a Garmin GPS.

If the boat has downriggers, it was obviously used on big water and survived so I wouldn't sweat that part. Crestliner has been around for years and builds good stuff. A 13 year old boat is worth whatever it will bring. At that age, condition is everything. Check your local classified ads or "boattrader.com" and look for similar boats. Throw out the highest and lowest prices and those in the middle are probably fairly priced.

Thanks for the input, the boat looks really good but I wasn't familiar with Crestliner.
