Talked to the seller again,he said 1500 cash and he would end the auction early.My toy budget is about 500 less this month..

Take your lunch everyday...bologna sandwiches. No eating out for dinner...be sure to tell the wife how much you LOVE her cooking so much more than any restaurant!!! Rent movies instead of going out.

I would bet the sight of 13 C-notes in-hand would persuede the seller to hand over the keys! I'm sure with 10 bids already, it's going to go for more than 1500. It's a really nice looking boat.​

The guy listed it before and told me the winning bid was 1600 but never got payment.I have untill tomorrow to let him know and i have to work out of town untill Sunday...

DANG IT TD.....I'm going to sleep on it or try anyway...probably lay awake all night...
If i get up and the bid is over the 1500 then someone else can have it..
If i buy it then i got to learn about outboard Johnson engines..
Are you sure you guys want to answer all those questions?

i think the Johhson is one of the most friendly engines to work on. i have several. and don't want anything else. i've had the others also.

i say submit the $1500 max bid. and let it ride. you may get it for 1300. he doesn't have a reserve on the listing. so he has to sell to the highest bid.

If you have the time to watch this item near the end then do not put a maximum bid in yet. I have known of "ghost' bidders that know the seller to inflate the price. wait till near the end if you can.

Thats what i'm going to do.Wait untill about 2 minutes before it ends.Unless it goes way over what i'm willing to spend before then.Never know about ebay...
If not,other deals will come along..

there also snipe.com that follows the bids, and bids in the last 3 seconds. cost you about 10%, you enter your highest bid, and there computer, watches. i've been beat some many times by it.
