I purchased an older Avanti with the Raymarine C70 Classic and Radar setup. I found out that the previous owner did not setup an external antenna for this unit and I need some advise please on how best setting up the wiring.
Do I use a NMEA port with the appropriate cable and connect directly to the antenna, or use the Seatalk path using the cable/adapter bridge?
I'm finding bits and pieces of info on how to interface, but need a solid guide.
