Classified.

This probably was hashed out before but,, Question for the mods and admins. What’s holding back having a classified section on the site? I think it would be beneficial to a lot of members here looking to save $ on used parts and also to members looking to sell good usable parts. Something where a certain amount of time as a member and certain amount of post would be required before allowing to buy or sell to keep the rif-raf away.

The first thing that a little tough to remember is that iBoats is an online retailer of parts and accessories. So, a "swap and shop" section isn't typically in their best interest.

Also; there is actually a classified section for boats on the iBoats site. If you look at the site header, you'll see SHOP (takes you to the iBoats online store) and BOATS FOR SALE (which will take you to a classified sections).

IF however, a couple of members figure out they have some parts to exchange - they can switch over to private messages and handle a sale or swap (I've done it a few times here in the forums), no problem.
