Hi All,
Just putting my 1973 engine back together and can't remember which way the thermostat was originally fitted. I have a new T'stat (have to use old gasket though) but my head design is different to what is shown in the Clymers manual. Can anyone confirm if the attached photo is correct? or should I turn the thermostat around and have the wax-stat end in the t'stat cover?
BTW, I have found an exhaust port cover from Franz - thanks for your help guys.
