Hello all, well I got my outboard to pump water, and it seems to be runing good. The next thing I need to tackle, is the charging system. Should it be charging more than 12.2? I would believe it should charge 13-14 volts. The purple wire from the motor to the front is not hooked to anything, and has 5-7 volts on it running. Should this be hooked to a guage? Does this need to be hooked up to make the sytem charge? The manual I bought only exlpains how to replace parts...does not give diagnostics. Is there a supplement I need? Thanks for putting up with all my questions!
