Anyone know of Chilhowee Lake in East Tennessee? Perhaps you know of "The Dragon"... Or hwy 129. They are adjacent to one another and both very beautiful as they are set right into the Smoky Mountains. I kayak Chilhowee lake and love how little boat traffic there is. As of late there are some rumors going around that the lake will be drained. I don't know where the water will go.. Tellico is just down stream, but would it be able to hold the water? and With Chilhowee gone the only time there will be water beside the dragon will be with Calderwood Dam is running. I hope this is only a rumor. Anyone know anything about this? It is a TWRA lake.
