Charging battery at my dock

Hi All,
I have a 16 ft runabout that I keep in the water (salt) tied to a wooden dock. The dock has 110 electric (GFCI) at the seawall. I want to charge my battery on the boat overnight while it is tied to the dock. So, I would be running an extension cord about 25 or 30 feet from the outlet to the boat, then plug in the battery charger and connect to the battery.

Is there any problem doing this? Is there something I am not thinking of? Is this safe?

Thanks

as long as your ground fault works properly you will have no problems
