can't turn motor...please help steering locked

hi,<br />i brought my little creek boat out for the spring and i tried to turn the steering wheel and it is locked. i can't even to the the back and turn the motor by hand. there are no obstructions and it won't move at all. is something looked up or seized that won't let the motor move either by hand or from the steering wheel. please get back. thanks<br />jonathan

disconnect steering cable and try to turn by<br />hand. this will tell you whether is cable or<br />motor swivel problem. prob the cable is froze.

some penetrating oil and a very large hammer, worked for me.
