This aluminum fishing boat is 40 years old & leaks from the middle seat back. The rivets are loose. I want to keep the boat for sentimental reasons.

I have decided to apply a watertight wrap to the hull. The question is: what material ?

Temperatures in my area are 100 degrees in the summer & 25 below zero in the winter.

1. Does fiberglass work over aluminum ?
2. What alternatives are available ?

Rhino Liner or equivalant sprayed on the bottom will cure what ails it. With a lifetime warranty.
