Hello all -- I'm new to the forum and boating. I have just purchased a 2003 Trophy 2052 (pending sea trial) that appears to be very clean. I would appreciate any help on what to look for during the trial which won't be until next spring.

I saw the posts on the live well problems. Unfortunate -- I was hoping to use the well. I hope not all have the problem.

Since I don't know about previous engine maintenance I'm am concerned about the first steps to take.

Thanks for your help -- Dexters dad

Re: Buying new Trophy

I just purchased a 2003 2052 this past Aug! Great boat for the price and runs the chop well. Nothing to look for on the hull, other than the obvious. Just make sure you go through the paces on engine and outdrive.

Re: Buying new Trophy

Thanks for your input. I'm not quite sure what to look for on the engine or engine compartment other than checking the fluids.
