89 7.4 Bravo, once in a while I get a very small miss when under a load, such as at WOT or 3/4 or WOT. It is a fraction of a second. Never does it at lower speeds. Previous owner said it did the same thing to him over the years, he thinks it is a bad/corroded connection in the ign fuse housing at the dash or ign connection at the engine at the plug. I am suspect of this since it would happen randomly at all speeds if that was the case, right? Bad coil? Something else to check.

Could be, you need to check & clean all of your electrical connections......
I like to put a little dielectric grease & a large hose clamp on the large plug where the harnesses meet......
Coils generally start acting up when they get hot, but I would be more than a small intermittant miss...
Coils are cheap though, if you want to be sure...;)
