if you've never been there i highly recomend it. The beauty is unsurpassed.
and the fishing cant be beat. I got over 70 walleys and 20 or so northerns.
in 4 days this northern is in the middle of the size i got

I agree. Especially this time of year with the leaf changes. After being up there for a week you can actually smell the city before you get there. It is hard to explain but when we got to within 50 miles or so from the Twin Cities we could start to smell pollution. Maybe next year the reunion should be a week up there.

Yeah, its great. My buddy lives off of Fall lake just North of Ely. Last year we went ice fishing on Snowbank which is half in the BWCA.

Unbelievable. Not only the fishing, but the scenery.
