Hello everyone. I have been renting bass boats at my local lake every 3 months for about a year and a half now. I'm looking at buying a used bass boat for fishing with 2 friends. I'm hoping to see what you recommend as a good first boat. I spend about $170 for 8 hours renting. I rent for 2 or 3 days at a time.
I admit that I'm not the best boater out there. I do like to go fast to get where I want quickly but know one that's too fast is dangerous for my skill level. I get in the moment and do forget who gives way and who stays on course so I just slow down for them to cross infront of me. I'm hoping you can give a good recommendation on a make or model that is good to start out with to improve my skills. Something that is "easy" to handle but will also last me awhile. Thanks for the help!
