Best service manual - Clymer or Seloc?

Hello,

I have a 1998 Mercruise 3L with Alpha One leg.

I'm trying to do all the maintenance on it myself, but need a manual. I've looked through Amazon.com and there seem to be two main manuals, Clymer and Seloc. Both have poor reviews from past customers. I have also searched the Mercruiser website, but no luck.

Does anyone know the best manual and which to get?

side question: One of the manuals had GM on it - did/does GM make Mercruiser?

They told you that you can download it for nothing original factory manuals.
