Hi all, I have a Reg/Rec off my 1995 Evinrude 70hp motor and have read several posts on how to do this test, I did it with my cheap volt meter using ohm setting and got nothing, testing the yellow/yellow stripe/red/purple and gray wires one way then reversing the probes. So I took it to a electronic shop my friend has and he said you can't test it the way I said, he said to try to find schematic of the reg/rect,does anyone have such a thing? Or how do I tell him to test it? He was using a meter with a diode test position.
