Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Trim tabs mount to the transom, it's tough to tell ya where to put 'em, lookin' at the side of the boat,....

Basically, mount 'em on the transom, as far outboard as possible,....

What type of Trim Tabs did you buy? Are they the self adjusting type, or remotely controlled ones? Did they come with instructions?

Bondo is on target, here is a drawing that will apply to just about any type of Trim Tabs:

They are self adjusting type. Yes they have instructions. Then problem is that the back of the bayliner is curved and when i measure 3"- 4" from chine the bracket does not fit and the problem where to mount the bracket and the actuator.

Do you have closer photos of the transom from right behind the boat and from the side?

Can you position the Tabs there (on the red line) and position the actuators up on the blue part of the transom?

It doesn't matter too much, as long as the tabs are somewhere on my original red line, you will be OK. The mounting plates should not be on your arrow. See my first drawing.

As long as there is no binding as it moves through it's range of motion you should be OK.
