Re: Bayliner 1700 LS 1997 restoration
I finished tabbing and capping of the stringers. I used 3 layers of 12 oz biaxial overlapping the layers. Than I capped it all that way to the base of the stringers with a 17 oz biaxial without mat. Now I need to add cleats to stringers and frames. I used two layers of 17 oz biaxial to tie that transom and stringers. Is that enough I wonder? So far I have used up 7 gallons of epoxy. I hope 2 gal will be enough for the deck and various patches. Need to order some deck paint, maybe Durabak?
