bad coil????

I have a 95 mercury 60hp running on 2 cylinders, I think the coil is bad. Can someone tell me what the ohms reading is supposed to be on it. I think it is shorted out. Thanks

red to + and black to - at rx1 = .02 to.04
red to plug terminal and black to - at rx100 = 8 to 11
Wouldn't it be easier to swap coils.
