AQ151 nothing to starter

I recently picked up a 1990 Steigercraft with an AQ151 that started up fine but then today I turned the key and got nothing. The gauges get powered up and I can operate the trim but nothing when I try to start. The batteries are at 12.8 volts. The trim guage does not display properly so I am wondering is there something there that can interrupt the circuit. Is there a way to bypass that to see if that is the problem?

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. The switch was fine but it wasn't send anything to the solenoid, I found the wire had come loose on the nuetral switch on the shifter.
