I flushed my engine yesterday after running in brackish water. Boat ran great didnt overheat or anything. BUT when I was flushing it I had outdrive trimmed up some and noticed a spray of water coming out around the bellows. Felt up in there and couldnt really feel where it was coming from because it was hitting the shift shaft. What behind there could be leaking water. Outdrive fluid reservoir still reads full. Not over.

exhaust bellows could be leaking?

Are you sure it wasn't coming from the idle relief ports?

I dont think the bellows are leaking marina put those on as a condition of me buying it. Outdrive was trimmed up about half way between down and its safety stop. So maybe from relief ports. But I will have to run it on muffs again and get my head under there to see where its coming from. If not from reliefs where else could it be coming from?
