Also, my poor old truck is apparently jealous of the attention spent on boats lately, and now either my slave cylinder is bad on my tranny, or the clutch is going out...time to break out the transmission jack and spend a few hundred on her, I guess.

i am going t bet clutch and slave not tranny standard trannies almost never give up the gost unless you are really hard on her.

as for the boat keep looking you will find someting. there is an arkasas traveler in abilene cl for 100 bucks. Looks just like the one mick started with.

jacket, i sort of agree with you. there is a learning curve to restoring/fixing up old boats. now i have a notepad that i write down stuff i want to do differently on my next boat.


but you sound like you are financially in the same place as me, and i wouldnt buy something just to sell it. you will lose money, sleep and the only things that will increase is the tension in your marriage, blood pressure and stress level.

i would find something that is in better shape than that tri hull.
