Ok so I'm probably setting myself up to look like a moron here but I want to confirm the best way to hook a 12 Volt Anchor motor up to a 24 volt system. I've got two deep cycle 12 Volt Batteries with one Positive connected to the negative on the other. Any help would be appreciated!

you will have to run a seperate circuit to one battery.

So I should just connect to the positive and negative terminal on one battery alone and use a circuit breaker on the positive connect correct?

correct, just verify with a meter that you have 12v before you hook anything up.

I think you are supposed to use the posts from the first battery in the series for a 12v feed. I.e. the one with the + connected to the - of the second battery so that you can't get 24v by accidental contact to the main ground.

There's a great diagram in another post here.
