I've done quite a bit of research into soda blasting machines, it grew out of my search for a fairly local firm that might do a boat for me (no luck so far). From what I've read, the small portable units like you are talking about from various sellers don't work very well unless you are doing small quick projects. They are reported to be very slow, blast a very small pattern and often clog up from moisture. You have to keep stopping to remedy that. I understand the small consumer units do not have an air dryer in them.
Maybe someone with hands-on experience knows better. Good luck & good thread, I'll be interested to see other responses.
