That makes it on here every couple months,it is obvously a purpose built boat just for doing stunts like that.

Hopefully never see anyone on my water doing that unles they have a window in the bottom of the boat.

not that it matters, but i *think* that show is in Minoqua Wisconsin - the boat says "Min Aquabats". if memory serves that's where they're from. I was in a ski show when i was in a kid. one of our drivers flipped a hyrdodyne ski boat doing that. had to work day and night to get the motors dried out and running for a ski show later that week. not the smartest thing anyones ever done.

From a maintenence point of view yes I have to agree. But wheelies done in moderation are okay. Imo ...

Easily done when you look at the way the motors are timmed to almost out of the water and that they are more powerful then the boat realy needs to be and that the boat it a really light weight one.

Don you are correct, that is part of the show they put on all summer on lake Minocqua in Wisconsin. Used to go see it everytime I was "up North". Really a good show if anyone is ever in the area.

Wimpy wheelie on this one. For what it's worth I don't even monkey around with trim anymore. I simply leave it at my best high speed setting'n wait for the motor to catch up. These wheelie pics are not the result of trimming any higher than normal.

Meh... looks like someone intentionally doing something I have the brains not to do intentionally... not that i've never done it, though... did something similar(less extreme) in the Nitro Bassboat I had, with a 225 Merc... Scared the everloving poo outta me tho...

Actually, most reasonably high performance bass boats will pop a pretty good wheelie if you forget to trim in the engine after idling through a shallow place. If you stay on it, they hop for awhile too.

I've gotten into the habit of throttling up 20% for a couple of seconds. If the nose comes up, I then remember to put the motor in the lake, then can it. The same bass boats when trimmed right will hop on top of the lake without losing the horizon.

I seen a guy do this 4th of July a few years back... He was also the guy screaming through the river with the obscene rooster tail behind the boat.. After a couple of wheelies (Which were impressive), He spent about an hour tied up to the DNR's boat..
