97 sea swirl 201 with 5.0 efi omc cobra

Hi im getting my boat ready for the summer and wanted to change the impeller but to my surprise when i took off the cover on the out drive it looked much different then the picture in my manual. I know i have a circ pump under my alternator on the motor. Does my boat not have a circ pump in the out drive?
