92 force 120 VS 95 force 120

I had a 95 force 120 hp engine that failed and the dealership rebiult and sent me out a 92 force 120 hp engine to replace it I am just wondering if there was any significant change in these years that I should be worried about I already forund that the powerheads wont switch across to the lower legs without significant changes so I am going with the 1992 head and leg am I losing anything dropping back these three years or are they basically the same thing other than the age difference.

The 92 is mostly Force and the 95 was mostly Merc. The powerheads are very similar, but the ignition systems are different and the crankshaft splines for the driveshaft are different. The props are not the same either. I'd have to say that you are making a giant leap backwards.
