Just bought our first boat and have some questions for the pros..

I need to buy a new prop and the only thing stamped on this one is 20c?
Both boat and motor are 1992.
We will be using the boat mostly for skiing, tubing and just plain cruising. Without killing me in gas mileage what would be the best all around prop?

It looks like the previous owner drug the motor while towing it on the street, and broke the skeg real bad (no leaks or cracks) but too short for the skegquard to work (from what I read) any suggestions on the cheapest and best repair method?
Thanks for any help.......
regards Smurf.

GOOD welder will do the repair for about 100 bucks. I used aircraft aluminum 5/16 inch thick. Hit a rock at speed and only dented it--ground out the ding with a belt sander. WAY better than the original casting.

Prop? Usually a Michigan 13 1/4 X 19 will be correct or close. If you have money, you can play with other brands or stainless.

Thanks for the info. Do you recommend taking the lower unit apart before I get it welded?
