91 Johnson drops cylinders when warm

Starts great takes off and in about 3-5 minutes drops one cylinder than drops another when I try to determine which cylinders it appears that the two top cylinders drop out and run on the two bottom. We changed out the power pack (used) same problem changed out the stator and trigger same problem also (used),, Definatley seems like ignition and not fuel.. Just wondering if anyone has had this expeirence.... Ingnition parts are expensive trying to be smart about which parts to buy... All connectors have been checked and cleaned.... Any Help is welcomed......thanks b

Which motor are we talking about here?

I would personally start by swapping coils and see if the problem follows the coil.

I'm an old points ignition guy so my experience on you engine is nill but for what it's worth, if an engine starts an runs OK but then cuts out after it heats up the first thing I think is coil. HighTrim's advice about swapping them will tell you without spending a penny.
