I have a 2004 Mercury 90hp that wont crank. Last week it was cranking fine no issue, sat for a week and now when I turn the key nothing. I do get lights on the dash. I checked and clean batteries and battery cables, I checked all fuses including engine compartment. I checked for power and ground to the switch 12.8v. I check the big red wire at the relay, got 12.8v. The switch is about 3 to 4 year old. I have no power to the S terminal of the relay. I'm lost, it's like the switch is not sending signal to the motor. The motor is in neutral. Any idea's would be appreciated.

Try using the CDI troubleshooting guide. I just had that happen while troubleshooting another issue and it was the main wiring harness plug. I just unplugged it and spread the male pins and it cranked. An easy fix thank god, I’m getting quite frustrated lol.
