Hey yall, I have a 1989 stratos with a 3.0 omc , the problem is, is at idle the temp rises up to around 200, when I speed up, it cools off. I put new impeller in and have good water flow. I read on other topics about mercruiser, that there is an outflow valve ball and spring that could be weak and letting too much water bypass at the thermostat. I'm about to go check that. Any other suggestions? I've also read about flappers? IM not familiar with them really and may need an explanation.. Exhaust manifold blockage maybe? Not familiar with how all that works either, any advice would be great, thanks in advance -zach
