89' 3.0l convert to pertronix ignitor shift interrupter fix?

when installing a pertronix ignitor in my boat it says to install a "omc shift interrupter fix" from the ciol,gnd, and the e.s.a module, i dont think i have a esa module, well i dont see one in the wiring book.
so do ihook this up to the interrupter switch or dont need it??

Nope. Just install the unit. One thing to keep in mind if you haven't already. The module needs a full 12v, not the voltage from the resistor wire.
