When my buddy got the boat it had no battery in it. Since it was in the winter he just wanted to get the engine trimmed down so water wouldn't get trapped. He unscrewed some sort of bleed screw on the strb side of the motor on the bracket and the engine lowered. Now he can't get the screw to turn any direction... it just spins. How can this be fixed? It is spraying hydralic out that screw hole.

Was it the manual release screw??? I know some of them are plastic and can be stripped. If there is a snap ring in there holding the manual release screw in, remove snap ring and replace screw and orings on screw. Mike

it's a metal screw and it can be turned in either direction but just never gets tight or comes out.

I am not sure how one could even get it out
