I am doing a restoration of a 1990 Bayliner Capri cuddy. I have been posting in the restoration forum but was told to post motor questions here instead. I have included some pics of my progress but today as my son was helping put the engine back together he broke the snap ring on the crank shaft over the 3rd piston. I am having a hell of a time finding just these rings. Does anyone know where I can purchase the rings or a possible a cross over ring that would fit the bill that I could get at an auto parts store? Thanks alot guys and I will update as we move along the rebuild.

The bearing race or the place the part goes holds the bearings in place.
The ring holds the bearing race in place over the bearings.
If memory serves me: the race is a broken fit.
They make it in 1 piece and then break it so it only fits one way, like the connecting rods."I think"
