So here we go - got my boat out last week, ran like crap for an hour or two, then it ran excellent. Unfortunately, that lasted for about fifteen minutes, and the boat died, and would not start. Took it apart today, NO SPARK! Changed the coil, points are moving, but when I take the spark plug out and touch it to metal, no spark. Points in the distibutor seem to be working, as they are moving, and the rotor is turning as it should be. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what this might be, or how I can test for something else? Really wanna get this baby back on the water, cause when it was running, it was EXCELLENT! We also checked all the fuses and everything checked out good. Cmon guys, I really could use your help to get this baby back up!
