85 150 xr2 trim want go up

My trim has been working great and then it just stoped going up i tried using the trailer trim to rule out the swicth and still nuttn it works fine going down just want go up at all where should i start looking at first to fix this problom iney help is gladley appreciated thanks

you should have two solenoids, 1 goes up and 1 goes down. trim solenoids are cheap, should be around $25.00. you can test by switching the two solenoids, if it goes up but not down, its the solenoid, if it still goes down and not up, could be wiring or short in trim motor. usually its the solenoid.
