It's a relief actually. Most of the unknowns came from that back of the boat. Everything from how the transom was going to turn out to what shape everything is in.

Can't wait to float it just to see what it is like.

I may have to sit on egg crates for now. Discarded pizza boxes can be an inexpensive source of cheese :)

Sprint that motor looks clean and ready to run:)

I bet you are chomping at the bit to get that thing on the water. Can't wait to see some photos and video of the rig out and about.

I week or so I may just go float it and run it for a bit just to get the kinks out.

Next step wiring and the deck coating.

Hey sprintst,
Most of the boat owners I know are either broke or soon will be, including me. Just do what you can, when you can, and enjoy the boat.
It's looking good.
Take Care.

True 'dat. The tax returns came and an back to unbroke kinda sorta.

I'll take a kick at some of the wiring and finish decking hopefully by next weekend.

Durabak just e-mailed saying they will ship to Canada so that is good news as well.

Putting a bit of 600 on a city owned zodiak, trailer and 30 hp jet. It was used by the FD for rescues. I'll let you know how it goes.

I got one of the lounge seats done with the hinges, t-nuts, etc bolted together. Not exactly fine furniture but looks good enough to be hidden under marine vinyl.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get the other set done.

A tip was to lay the seats out along a straight edge 2X4 when putting the hinges on so that they lay down straight. If the seat backs don't lay back to back perfectly hit them with a belt sander and they will :)

Raining, raining always raining. I'll take a crack at it Sat whe it is supposed to stop.

For now ordered gunwale storage leds as I'll use the really powerful ones for bow storage, engine bay, front bow and rear bow lights as they have 180 degree throw.

These leds are cheap, have 100% satifaction on e-bay and have already shipped :)

No word yet on the zodiak as I'n not sure how long it takes to see who won.

It would definately be a steal if I got it and I'm sure I would start using it the same day as well :)

Here are the really bright eye melting led's that I will mount under the bow, engine bay, bow and stern, etc. They are Street Force Led's used by the rice rockets out there.

If it ever stops raining I can get some of this stuff done and post some pics. Made up my mind and wiring will be done next week while I wait for Durabak to come in.

sprintst,
Nice looking lights. Those should be a nice addition.
I will need to check out adding those to my project.

Bought this too. I need to start working on this thing and leave well enough alone.

I'll be eating out of dumpsters at this rate :)

Heading out the door to finish putting the hinges on the seats. If I'm very lucky I'll get the speaker holes cut in the gunwale supports.

I finally got the seats assembled. They look good enough that an upholsterer should be able to totally hide my mistakes. The boxes just need a coat of epoxy them done.

More seat pics for anyone daffy enough to do them themselves.

They took some time but are as tough as they get. I''m sure I can support the boat with them if I have to.
