The past two times out my motor has run great from the ramp to the first fishing spot. When I start the motor to go to my second spot I can't get above 6 mph. If I try to go above idle speed the motor will die. I took apart both carbs and all orfices are clean and open. I tried pumping the bulb while accelerating and it didn't help. I pulled the spark plugs and the the upper starboard plug is a little bit white. The other plugs look pretty normal. Does anybody know what could be causing this? I get nice blue spark when I test it in the driveway in a tub of water.

Thanks,
Hunter

check you spark immediately after it messes up. take a spark tester with you or an induction timing light.

Good idea. I have a timing light so I'll try that. I'm starting to think its the powerpack (which is only 2 months old) or a couple of coils. Thanks Tash.
