73 super sport paint help!

Just wondering what paint to use on this critter.My bottom paint is in pretty good shape.I just want to take care of some bare metal in a few places with some etching primer,scuff the paint and recoat it with a couple of coats of something that's as hard as woodpecker lips.Any suggestions that I don't have to go mortgage my house to get?Thanks Jimmy J

Most guys including myself go the Rustoleum route. Its very durable and not expensive. Plus you can roll & tip or spray. Check out some threads and you will get a good idea which way to go. Good luck, Dale

I'll post this as an endorsement for rolling on Rustoleum.
Heres a shot of my hull..boat flew off trailer and into a field..long story..
Put a little crease in the hull from flying against and over the bow winch..

Paint? still perfect!

Man! Those winds in Ft. Myers must be something else ! See watcha mean about the paint.Pretty impressive!
