73 fleetwell revival

I have a carbuator question. What is the difference between a marine and a auto carb ? Upon dissasembly of my old one it looks like a regular carb of a car nothing out of the ordinary . Thank u in advance for any Info

The OEM "might" have had a hose running from the carb to the fuel pump.
The hose was for an overflow problem.
It also would indicate if the diaphragm in the pump was bad and it would push fuel up to the carb.
The carb is the same as an automotive.
Just a couple of extra connectors.
The carb you have if it's original and still working(amazing) might have the extra stuff.
Most that age get replaced somewhere along the line.

She has a chevy 350 in her and the card is not in good shap so a replacement is in her future
