The past two weekends really started to show some progress. I'm installing some finishes finally. I'm really struggling with the windshield installation though. The windshield is not original to the boat ( neither is anything else but the hull) and I cant get it mounted with a proper gap at the hatch to save my life. I bought it used because the width measurment was the only one I could find that fit this narrow boat. any advice?

Hey you really turned that goofy setup around! Looks great! Pretty much a small SS now.

Thanks! Still a lot left to do though. I will get some better photos of the finishes those were kind of fuzzy. I like the SS photos. Thats what i was looking for but settled for this smaller version. The seats seem awful high on the pedastal bases, and im afraid its going to be a bit cramped with any more than two people in it.

Some really nice work there Jambla...maybe something in this area as a stop/support point, that glass is quite heavy and the hinges leave a lot to be desired...just my thoughts....wouldn't have to be too protruding, depending on the seal{if used}.

I like the idea of a support point at the hatch. that does make sense. My immediate problem is getting the windshield mounted to the dash correctly. My latest thought is to lay it on the workbench, screw the hatch in place with the proper gap, then make a template of the bottom edge and apply it to the windshield mounting area. I cleaned the lens on my camera phone then uploaded the better photos. see below.
