Does any one know if a seria 18 7350 or 18 7351 fuel pump will fit a 1963 18hp evinrude.

Yes. The 18-7351 is a better choice, worth the extra money. It is far simpler and a better pump. You will have to re-route the hoses, maybe even replace them. No biggie deal.

In your other thread you mentioned you have a new diaphragm for the old pump. Where the heck did you find that? They have been obsolete for 50 years. Anyhow, the spring cup I mentioned goes on the air dome spring. The main diaphragm spring washer is riveted to the diaphragm.

Yea, I would like to know more about this myself. A few months ago, I sold a rebuildable type fuel pump, of an old 10hp about the same year and was wondering if it's the same fuel pump set up.

I found the rebuild kit at langs outbords. You have to call it's not listed on his sight. The pump that came with the motor never had the cup washer in the air dome. I could try and find another old pump to get the spring and dome washer but I really want to hear this motor run to make sure it's ready for spring.
