'61 Johnson 40hp impeller housing repairable?

another aarrrrghhh.....While cleaning the housing, I had a good look and noticed one side kinda distorted. Are these repairable? Maybe squeeze it back into place and use some silicone to seal it on the outer part of that flange? Or get one of those 'Durafix' type aluminum welding/brazing rods? Or do I gotta source a new one?
And as always, your comments and advice are more than appreciated.

Get a new one, your new impeller will trash out in no time with damage like that. A "kit" usually includes the cover.
