Nothing outstandingly different about those motors. Probably needs the usual fuel system, ignition system service and water pump impeller replacement. Likely new seals also. The upper and lower crankshaft seals were leaking badly in mine and needed replacement.
BTW, if you scratch your head figuring out how to remove the lower unit, you have to remove the cap off the front of the gearcase, then the round nut from the bottom end of the shift rod. Note how far it is screwed onto the rod before you disturb it, so you can put it back like it was.
